and are known to feed on small mammals, birds and even reptiles. Larger Burmese pythons have been

documented feeding on pigs, goats and alligators. Chanel is a very sweet talkative snake. She loves to slither in

grass and soak in the sunshine at parties and is quite the show stopper!

Beefcake and Maddie are our breeding pair of Dumerils Boa's. As well as being breeders they are also

awesome animal ambassadors! At their adult size Maddie is about 8 feet long and Beefcake is 5 and a half feet

long. In this species male snakes are usually much smaller than the female snakes. These snakes are native to

dry forests in Madagascar. These Boa's are opportunistic feeders, in the wild they feed on mammals, birds and

lizards. One interesting fact about this species is that they give live birth! This year Maddie birthed 17 live

babies! These snakes love to be the center of attention at events, and birthday parties! They also love hanging

out in the sun outside. They help us teach others about the amazing large snakes of Madagascar.

- Big Al -

Big Al is our largest amphibian ambassador! Big Al is an African Pixie Frog. As the name suggests, this species of

frog is native to Southern Africa. These frogs are one of the only species of frog that have teeth, they have

multiple small teeth in their jaw and main teeth called odontodes.  This species of frog has a varied diet

including crickets, worms, roaches and even small rodents. Big Al is certainly always a favorite when he goes to

events, he loves to jump around in the grass which guests always love to see!
